I’m doing a summary on a book called Linking the World: The Internet.
Here’s my summary’s. Hope you enjoy it.
Telephony is on the Internet for Videos, Computer Networks, how it was made, History with the Internet, how people treat the Internet, how fast the Internet goes How much people use the Internet a day, Info about the Internet, the way it’s used, how much people use the Internet, World Wide, how it’s World Wide, How the world got the Internet, Better Graphics for Videos & Games.
The Internet was created in United States in a University of California Los Angeles. There were 4 computers in the United States, (1) University of California Los Angeles, (2) Stanford Research Institute (3) University of California Santa Barbara … (4) University of Utah. The Internet got its first email from University of California Los Angeles to University of California Saint … and the teacher there got the email was jumping up & down.
The Internet had billons of websites and everyone doesn’t even like half of them, It’s Crazy how that’s true. The Internet has a good side then the Internet has a bad side as well like when Social Media came out, there were a thing called Cyberbully where they bully people online & make them suside, and their family’s sad.
The Internet is one crazy world of gaming, work & talking from let’s say Russia to New Zealand. The Internet is a quicker way of sending mail to people across the world like email AKA Outlook, Gmail & Hotmail. Email’s a like Telegrams but on the computer and sent like you have to wait like a second. Email’s help people send Ideas or saying Happy Birthday etc and it’s not a chance it will get mixed up with other emails/mails.
When you use Online Docs/Word™ you can work with other people on their own laptops at the same time and you can type to chat or you can use Skype™. You can make your own website or blog. Everybody loves reading other people’s blog’s and that’s how there famous today with over 500,000 blogs posts every 60 seconds. That’s 50 every second!
Websites are used for Online Gaming, Downloading Games & Apps, Social Media, Business Store’s Online & Lot’s more. People buy stuff online now and get it shipped or delivered to their front door, People loves buying stuff of other people that Shop’s don’t really have, Online Shopping is more famous than going down the street to your nearest street. It’s more famous that you buy a couch online from E Bay™ or Trademe™. (NZ's best Online Shopping Website)
Kids use Internet & Online Apps E.g. Online Office 365® or Edmodo™ but it turns out bad when kids go on the wrong website then loses the School’s money or get in Trouble. Kids love using Devices so they can play some games. Adults love Gaming online with friends or REKT random strangers on games like Call of Duty® or Halo®. Adults don’t know but sometimes kids play ruder games like GTA® without asking, it effects their brains then they do lots of kicking & hurting someone else when they grow up. The Internet can be a lovely place and an evil place at the same time.
Linking the World: The Internet tells us what happens every 60 seconds or telled us how the Internet was made. Remember, The Internet is one crazy place 50% greatest and 50% bad. Let’s try to make the Internet 75% Good and 25% bad then 100% Good and 0% Bad. Hope you liked my facts and report about the Internet.
